No.1 for the fourth year in a row
Westbourne School has once again topped the league tables for sixth form results. The Daily Telegraph confirmed Westbourne’s place in its UK wide 2018 league tables for the country’s leading independent schools. Westbourne is delighted to maintain its position at the top of UK league tables for smaller sixth forms for the fourth year in a row.
Principal Dr. Griffiths said:
“We are delighted once again to be ranked first in the UK. It is a testament to the focus and diligence of our students and the untiring hard work of our teachers and the entire Westbourne team. To have our position confirmed for the fourth year in a row and so soon after our “Excellent” across the board, inspection rating, is great praise indeed.”
The School was particularly pleased that graduates obtained their first choice of university and 2/3rds of all graduates obtained a fully bi-lingual IB Diploma.
Thalia P, Head Girl who recorded 41 in her IB Diploma said:
“Two years in this school with amazing teachers and an infinite amount of support and help has enabled me to achieve a grade in the IB that I did not think was possible I couldn’t be happier to have served as the head girl in this school and hopefully made them proud of me I will miss all the support from teachers greatly both academically and personally! This is a tight knit family which I regret to leave but will always remember and keep in touch with.
