Pre-IB started the Service thread of their CAS studies this week – one of the three core elements of the International Baccalaureate, Creativity, Activity and Service is an important part of their leadership development.
They visited the prep school and nursery and divided into groups to help in various ways – some helped with writing, some listened to readers and filled in their logs, a couple helped with art and some volunteered to work with the youngest two-year-olds.
Over the course of the next term, Pre-IB students will rotate in a carousel in order to develop their CAS studies and to help and support their younger counterparts, witnessing the progress being made.

One of our Westbourne attributes is that we encourage pupils to regularly demonstrate the ability to show a caring nature. Last week Westbourne Prep School Head Boy, Head Girl and Prefect alongside our Head of Prep, Mrs Chinnock delivered donations, collected across the Prep School to Llamau!
At Llamau they believe that no young person or vulnerable woman should ever have to experience homelessness. Their mission is to eradicate homelessness for young people and vulnerable women.
Thank you to all the parents, students and staff who were involved in collecting donations.
