As we welcomed back our Senior School students this term, September marks the beginning of a particularly exciting journey for our new Sixth Form students embarking on the IB Diploma – a globally renowned academic programme that nurtures the leaders of the future. We are proud to be an IB-only Sixth Form, offering limited places to the brightest and most curious young minds from a broad local and international community.
Last week, our new and very enthusiastic IB1 students took part in a range of induction sessions designed to inform and prepare them for the important two years of study ahead, and to share best practice guidance and advice on how to excel studying this challenging yet highly rewarding academic programme.
As they begin to take their first steps in researching top universities across the world, including the world-famous Russell Group, and finesse their plans for their careers ahead, we can’t wait to see what our new cohort will achieve!

We also extended a very warm welcome to new and existing students returning to our vibrant Senior School, which has undergone extensive renovations over the summer months. With a range of new lessons, extra-curricular opportunities including our updated after school clubs programme, and friends to catch up with, the first week back was a busy one!
Our lively, student-centred Senior School – focused on innovation and discovery- and characterised by small classes and tutorial-style teaching, is the ideal environment to support our students to thrive and develop a love of learning.
Bring on the new year!
