Everyone at school was delighted this week to learn that Westbourne has been shortlisted as a Finalist in the prestigious Cardiff Life Awards 2021. The awards highlight local businesses and organisations that are making a positive impact in Cardiff and the surrounding area.
Although it is not the first time that we have been recognised in the awards for the contribution we make to education, this year we have also been shortlisted in the Technology & Innovation category for the way in which the school has used and innovated EdTech during the pandemic.
During lockdown, we continued to explore new teaching methodologies, resources and cutting-edge technologies to support our pupils at every stage, including the launch of Westbourne Online as well as Century, a groundbreaking online learning platform backed by AI and neuroscience.
