Visual Arts International Baccalaureate diploma student, Tia has been shortlisted for a prestigious Excellence Award.
Tia’s work was talent spotted during the end of year, Visual Arts exhibition, held at Westbourne and has now been entered and short-listed for the Ceramics Excellence Award 2019, held within the Cardiff School of Art and Design (CSAD).
The CSAD Ceramics Excellence Award is a celebration of emerging talent and a showcase of the potential of ceramics in prompting a wider appreciation of the material world.
Tia will be now be given the opportunity to exhibit at Cardiff School of Art and Design, where judging will take place on the night of the private view, 19th June. The overall winner will be chosen by a panel of experts in the field of ceramics and education.
Work will then remain on public display from 20th – 27th June. We wish Tia the very best of luck next week.
