“Following the news from Balmoral yesterday evening, on behalf of Westbourne School and our sister schools around the globe, I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family on the sad passing of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II.
As the longest serving monarch this country has ever known, she was the only ruler many of us in the UK can ever remember in our lifetimes, and a symbol of kindness, resilience and humility over the past eight decades. Her loss is felt throughout not only this country, but around the Commonwealth and the world.
As we take today to mark this historic moment in all of our lives and to remember and celebrate the many positive values for which the Queen stood, we unite in the knowledge that our supportive Westbourne community is stronger than ever.”
