2013 IB Results at Westbourne School

We are pleased to announce another excellent set of IB Diploma results.

100% of our 2013 cohort passed their diploma (beating the worldwide average of 80%) with 50% of these applying achieving a place at a Russell Group University.

This has built upon an already fantastic set of 2012 results where 80% of our students were accepted into their first choice University. 44% of these were accepted into either medicine or law. The International Baccalaureate is universally recognised as the ‘gold standard’ in international education for 16-18 year olds.

This academically rigorous qualification is widely recognised all over the world by British and International Universities.

These IB results mean our overall average UCAS points achieved in 2012 & 2013 are equivalent to A*, A, A at A-level by the UCAS Tariff. These results are a glowing testimony not only to the strength of the International Baccalaureate at Westbourne, but also to the hard work of our students and teachers.
