This week, pupils from across the school completed a First Aid Masterclass. The workshop aimed to teach students life-saving skills to help them in emergency situations, offering practical and interactive activities.
The age appropriate sessions provided children with the opportunity to learn basic CPR, how to ask for help and applying plasters and ice packs to wounds.
The children listened intently, observed with great focus and then actioned the skills they had been taught. These lifelong skills are not only vitally important in emergency situations, but also allow them to harness and hone their proficiency in managing and leading situations.
Students were delighted to receive a certificate upon completion.
The First Aid Week will now become an annual event to complement our already extensive extra-curricular calendar.
