A huge well done to all of our students who supported the NSPCC and runners throughout the Cardiff Half Marathon, cheering on runners and giving out much needed refreshments.
And of course a big thank you to all teachers who gave up their Sunday morning to accompany the children!

Caleb from Year 6 recently had the brilliant opportunity to be the mascot for the recent Chelsea FC vs Southampton FC game!

We were so pround of Felix, Year 8 and Lewis, Year 6 and their selfless act last weekend! On Saturday afternoon they took some gardening gloves and black bags from the garage and then spent two hours in Victoria Square picking up rubbish.
In the rain, they then sorted rubbish into recyclable or non-recyclable and put it into the relevant bins. A great example and very positive impact on their local community, we are thrilled with their enthusiasm and initiative!

Our Prep School Residential Trip started on Wednesday and children are having so much fun!
This is likely the first significant time away from home for many of our students. It is great they will have their lovely Westbourne teachers and the RockUK staff to encourage, reassure and help at all times!
In just a few short days they took part in all sorts of adventurous activities including kayaking and caving.
It is safe to say they will come back with so much more confidence!

As part of our commitment to preparing students for the options available beyond school, a trip to Cardiff Motorpoint Arena for the SkillsCymru exhibition was held last week.
Over one hundred employers, trainers and educators were there on hand to inform students of the latest employment opportunities, apprenticeships and further education routes.
Pupils definitely left with a lot of food for thought!
Kaulana competed in her Novice gymnastics competition in Newport at the weekend. As she came 3rd overall, she’ll be representing South Central at the finals in a couple of weeks!!
