The Dangers of Drugs
Two local police officers from Penarth, PC Emma and PC Ryan paid a visit to Westbourne to speak to Year 8 pupils as part of their PSHE curriculum. The presentation was called ‘Rue the day’ which involved speaking to pupils about both the dangers and the consequences of taking illegal drugs and substances and the long term impact this could have to not just your body but your career choices. Pupils were invited to any questions they did have.
