Student competes at British Tennis Tournament

We’re proud to celebrate the fantastic achievements of one of our Year 10 pupils, Felix, who has competed in his first ever LTA British Tennis Tournament event.

The Tour is a tennis circuit for professional players, young stars with ambitions of going professional in the future, and national level players who still compete at a high level. The exciting event showcases the best of British tennis.

The competition took place in Penarth, at the local tennis club, which enabled school friends, parents and teachers to attend and support Felix every step of the way.

The competition was fierce and Felix put on an incredible performance, playing against a very talented opponent who ultimately made it through to the main draw. We’re so excited to see where Felix’s tennis journey takes him next.

The importance of sports

Sports are a fantastic way to help students build resilience, confidence, teamwork and leadership skills. We understand just how important those skills are for future success and that’s why our extra-curricular activities include a range of sports clubs such as sailing, tennis, swimming, yoga, basketball, touch rugby, dodgeball, cross country, athletics, golf and football.
