Run Fast, Jump Long
On Friday 28th June, Westbourne Senior School held their annual sports day at Jenner Athletics Park. Pupils from year 6-12 competed in several different track and field sports. The day began with the 800 meters which was split in different year and single sex groups. Year 12 students not only competed in all of the races but also helped out with the day, such as the Long Jump, Javellin and Shot put. Parents were encouraged to come and cheer on the pupils, along with teachers who also spent the day helping out and watching the students. The day finished with the compeitive school relay races.
