It has been wonderful to welcome back our pupils after the Easter break and discover how they spent their holidays.
On the sporting front, hearty congratulations go to Owen in Year 6, who at only 11 years old, has achieved an exceptional category one golf handicap of just 8.8 and been invited to train with the Under 14’s County Team having achieved tournament success this Easter.
The British Junior Tour event, hosted at Swansea Bay Golf Club saw Owen shoot 3 over par off the red tees to win his age group, swiftly followed the next day by shooting 7 over par off the blue tees to win the Glamorganshire Easter Cup Competition.
Further success followed last weekend, with a joint second score (3rd on countback) at the Welsh Junior Ping Tour at the Carmarthen Golf Club.
Congratulations Owen on your hard work, determination and success…certainly one to watch on the Golf Tour.
