Nestled in a charming Victorian building, with a large garden, just minutes from Penarth town centre and railway station, Little Westbourne Nursery School provides a wonderland of opportunity to ignite your child’s natural curiosity within a secure, fun and stimulating pre-school environment.

Welcoming boys and girls from 2 years, our highly qualified and experienced staff work tirelessly to offer daycare and support to your child at this crucial early years stage of their development.

Our nursery children have multiple opportunities to join in with Prep pupil activities, developing confidence and familiarity with ‘Big School”.

Warmth, kindness and attentiveness are at the heart of the Little Westbourne experience. We nurture and care for every child to ensure that they feel happy and supported, so that being at nursery is just like being at home.

We offer our nursery children the space and freedom to choose their own activities, alongside structured play and learning. They are offered daily opportunities to discover new worlds, to perform and to get creative, all the while flourishing as an individual.

With a child-to-staff ratio of just 4:1 in our toddler group, every child at Little Westbourne is allocated a bespoke learning plan that caters to their individual developmental needs, and we closely support them to gain skills in reading and writing ahead of their progression to Reception, so they feel confident and happy making that leap.
