The Boarding House and No. 5

The Boarding House is a friendly, warm, home-away-from-home for our students. It occupies a modern building located a few steps away from the Senior School, with a number of single and shared bedrooms, social space, and a cosy dining hall with on-site chef.

IB students may also choose to reside at “No.5”, a beautiful period property located nextdoor to the Senior School with a bright, well-equipped kitchen for students to dine and prepare their own meals, a common room, study area and garden.

Our Senior & Prep Schools

Our Senior School is a hive of activity for our Senior and Sixth Form students, housing a number of bright, modern classrooms, study areas, a science laboratory, IT suite and art rooms. Students have access to a large playground, school gym, basketball court and a roof terrace with picnic benches and hang-out spaces.

The Prep School is based in a beautiful period building on one of Penarth’s quiet, leafy streets, with a large playground and play equipment, gardening patch, and a range of trees and foliage for imaginative play during breaktimes! The school houses a variety of bright classrooms, a dining space and art rooms. Prep pupils also use the school gym and basketball court located at our Senior School, just a short walk away.

Little Westbourne Nursery

Attached to the Prep School, Little Westbourne occupies a clean, cosy ground-floor space in one of the town’s archetypal Victorian houses, which is divided into dedicated areas for the children to explore, including separate rooms for our Toddlers and Preschoolers, as well as a main dining space where the children enjoy eating together.

We have recently renovated our nursery garden to provide one of the largest outdoor play spaces of any nursery locally. This all-weather setting is the perfect place to run around safely, fully equipped with toys and play equipment.
